Route description...
From St Etienne (east):
Head towards Le Puy en Velay and, on the 4-lane N88, take the Bas en Basset exit. After Bas en Basset, follow the main road via Beauzac, Jussac, Lingoustre to Craponne sur Arzon. Then La Chaise Dieu. Here, take the exit towards Brioude and Cistrières via the D19. After Cistrières, take the exit to the left via the D568 towards Le Fronvel and Berbezit. Keep following the main road (through Le Fronvel and Lermitagne). You will enter Lugeastre from the northern direction.
From the A75:
Take exit 20 Brioude. Follow the N102 towards Le Puy en Velay. At the 3rd roundabout, take the 5th exit La Chaise Dieu. Next roundabout, 1st exit towards La Chaise Dieu. Then 1st road on the right, follow (also in Fontannes) Paulhaguet. About 2 km after Frugières-le-Pin Gare, take the exit on the left towards Vals le Chastel. Follow the road to Vals le Chastel (D56). Keep following the main road towards Saint Didier sur Doulon and after Vals le Chastel take the 1st road on the right to Lugeastre. Follow the road for 5 km uphill and then follow the signs for Le Grand Trianon.
